Texas Instruments raised its second-quarter earnings forecast after the market close on Tuesday. Shares of TI, the world's largest maker of chips for mobile phones, were up 1.5 percent to $27.70 after the Tuesday's closing bell. Crude was down 51 cents to $53.25. Wholesale inventories for April due at 10 a.m. (1400 GMT) are seen rising by 0.4 percent, against the same increase last time, according to a Reuters survey. On Tuesday, the Dow Jones industrial average closed up 16.04 points, or 0.15 percent, at 10,483.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index closed down 8.60 points, or 0.41 percent, at 2,067.16. And the Standard & Poor's 500 Index ended down 0.25 points, or 0.02 percent, at 1,197.26.
