Car Insurance

Car Insurance - Car insurance is a complex topic that covers a multitude possible of car-related and not-so-car-related mishaps. Anything that happens to a person in a car (or a car without a person in it) can be covered by car insurance – from a hailstorm that pits the surface of a vehicle like a golf ball to the injury of a pedestrian who is struck by a piece of debris thrown up by a moving car's tires. There are many varieties of car insurance. A car insurance policy can cover the damage to the vehicle, injury to occupants, injury to non-occupants, damage to another vehicle, legal expenses incurred in an accident, and numerous other expenses. Most states require vehicle owners to have some form of car insurance. The most common form of state-mandated car insurance is liability insurance, which protects the policyholder in case his car injures the property or person of someone else. Liability insurance does not cover the policyholder for his own damage or injury; those expenses are covered by a different form of car insurance, collision insurance, which will pay for the repair of your vehicle. Bodily injury coverage is the form of car insurance that will pay for your lost wages and your injury if you are injured in an accident that you, yourself, have caused.
